NFL Power Rankings Week 2

A lot has changed in my power rankings after week 2 in the NFL. Tell me what teams I missed in my top 10 and who should be higher and who should be lower.

1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2-0 (Last Week: 2)

There are seven undeafeated teams left in the NFL and out of all of them, the Buccaneers were the most likely to be in this spot. Tom Brady is looking good and their defense was making plays on Sunday which makes this team just as scary as they were last year. Whether you like it or not, the Buccaneers are the best team in the NFL two weeks into the season.

2. Los Angeles Rams 2-0 (Last Week: 3)

The Rams could have easily lost on Sunday to the Indianapolis Colts after they made some crucial mistakes. The Colts just could not capitalize in Rams territory and Carson Wentz getting hurt did not help either. The Rams still found a way to make it to 2-0 and that is what great teams do, that is why they come in at number 2 in my power rankings.

3. Kansas City Chiefs 1-1 (Last Week: 1)

Despite their loss to the Ravens, the Chiefs are still a top 5 team. They made some mistakes that cost them the game and Mahomes still looked good. They will be fine and they even have a case of being the number 2 team in these rankings but since the Rams are 2-0 they deserve the number 2 spot.

4. Arizona Cardinals 2-0 (Last Week: 4)

The Cardinals got lucky on Sunday withe the Vikings missing the game winning field goal but they find themselves 2-0. Kyler Murray has been an early MVP candidate and they have beaten a solid team in the Titans and the Vikings. This team can be competitive if Kyler Murray can play up to his potential and he stays healthy.

5. Oakland Raiders 2-0 (Last Week: NR)

The Raiders might be the most surprising team in football so far with two solid wins against the Ravens and Steelers. Derek Carr may very well be the MVP if the season ended today with passing for over 800 yards in the first two games of the season which has propelled them to their two wins. The Raiders were in the playoffs in my preseason predictions and they are looking good so far.

6. Baltimore Ravens 1-1 (Last Week: NR)

The Ravens bounced back in a big way in week 2 by beating the Kansas City Chiefs. Lamar Jackson threw a pair of picks but he did not let that phase him as he got his first career win against the Chiefs. This team will be in a battle for the division this year, with the Steelers and Browns going to be in it down the stretch.

7. Cleveland Browns 1-1 (Last Week: 7)

The Browns did not play a good first half against the Texans on Sunday but turned it around in a way in the second half. They stay in the same position that they were in last week since some teams ahead of them lost and some team jumped over them after having solid wins.

8. San Francisco 49ers 2-0 (Last Week: 8)

Despite their win against the Eagles, the 49ers stay in the same position that they were in last week. They did not play that great against the Eagles and they beat the Lions in week 1 which are not great wins but they are still wins. They still have room to improve, but they will have to settle for the 8th spot in these rankings.

9. Seattle Seahawks 1-1 (Last Week: 6)

A little bit of a fall from the Seahawks after their loss to the Titans on Sunday. They blew a pretty big lead which led them to lose their home opener for the first time in a long time. The Seahawks will be ok as they continue the season but this loss hurts and they should be 2-0 heading into week 3.

10. Buffalo Bills 1-1 (Last Week: 10)

No movement from the Bills after a 35-0 win against the Dolphins. I know they destroyed the Dolphins but Miami did not have Tua Tagovailoa for most of the game and Josh Allen did not play his best game. The Bills will need Allen to play better if they expect to be in Super Bowl contention at the end of the year.
