The Los Angeles Rams beat the Seattle Seahawks, 26-17, on Thursday Night Football. It was another great primetime game and it may have been even better if Russell Wilson never got hurt.
The game started out very slow with the halftime score being 7-3 in favor of the Seahawks. In the second half, the offenses started picking up the pace despite the injuries to both quarterback's fingers. Matthew Stafford was able to keep playing because of a dislocated finger and Russell Wilson did not have the same luck. Russell Wilson was sidelined for the rest of the game after he suffered the injury and that put Geno Smith in the game. Smith played very well and was moving the ball with the Seattle offense. This led him to have a shot to go down the field and win it with two minutes left. It did not last long as he threw an interception on the first play and that pretty much ended things.
The Seahawks are going to need Russell Wilson if they are going to have any shot at making the playoffs and their season rests on how long he may be out. The Rams on the other hand get a much-needed win to stay right there with the Cardinals. This division is looking more and more likely to come down to the Cardinals and the Rams and it is going to be interesting to see how things play out. This game was a great start to week five and we get to see 15 more games this week.
Russell out for 6 weeks? Not good for Seahawks
