Another week of NFL football means another week of NFL Power Rankings! Not too much movement this week as there was not too many upsets this week. Tell me what you think of the rankings in the comments below.
1. Arizona Cardinals 5-0 (Last Week:1)
Another week, another win for the Cardinals as they took care of business against the San Francisco 49ers. They are now 5-0 and are still the lone unbeaten team in the NFL as they head to face the Cleveland Browns, next week. The NFC West is going to come down to the Cardinals or the Rams at this point and it is going to be interesting to see how it all shapes up. The Cardinals will be in discussion of the top teams in the NFL as long as Kyler Murray can continue his MVP level play.
2. Buffalo Bills 4-1 (Last Week: 3)
The Bills have looked very impressive ever since their week one loss to the Steelers. On Sunday, they destroyed the Chiefs and made them look silly. The Bills are looking like the clear frontrunners for the AFC and they are in good shape for home field advantage throughout the playoffs with this win. They also get to play five more games against their division that is very weak. They have another tough test next week, as they travel to face the Titans on Monday Night Football.
3. Los Angeles Rams 4-1 (Last Week: 2)
The Rams defeated the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday Night Football this week after Russell Wilson went down with an injury for the Seahawks. The Rams are looking good and have a very favorable schedule coming up which could land them at 7-1 heading into a matchup with the Tennessee Titans. Matthew Stafford could carry this team far if he can continue playing at a high level which he has been doing so far this year.
4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers 4-1 (Last Week: 4)
The Buccaneers absolutely destroyed the Dolphins on Sunday with Tom Brady throwing five touchdowns. Tom Brady could very well be the favorite for the MVP race and he is forty-four years old which is amazing. This team is playing better than the Chiefs, who they faced in last year's Super Bowl and they could find their way back there this February. Tom Brady has so many weapons to throw to and that can be scary for any NFL defense.
5. Los Angeles Chargers 4-1 (Last Week: 5)
The Chargers are playing good football and they pulled out a win on Sunday against the Browns. Justin Herbert has been looking very good and he could find his way into the MVP race if he continues to lead the Chargers to big wins. The Chargers might be looking like the frontrunners for the AFC West, as the Chiefs, Broncos, and Raiders have all fallen off in the last few weeks. The Chargers now get to travel to Baltimore, after the Ravens pulled off an amazing comeback against the Colts.
6. Dallas Cowboys 4-1 (Last Week: 7)
The Cowboys continued their great play on Sunday after they beat the Giants. They have extended their lead in the NFC East and are looking like they should easily win the division. This team is built way better than the team they had last year and can make the Super Bowl. Dak Prescott is playing good and their defense is playing great behind great performances by Trevon Diggs who could be the favorite to win Defensive Player of the Year.
7. Baltimore Ravens 4-1 (Last Week: 8)
The Ravens had an amazing fourth quarter comeback last night after they were down 22-3 at one point to the Indianapolis Colts. Lamar Jackson had a career performance by throwing for the most yards he has ever thrown for in a game and they are now first place in the AFC North. The Ravens are only the third AFC team in these rankings right behind the Bills and the Chargers. The Ravens have been squeaking out some wins but it has led them to a 4-1 record.
8. Green Bay Packers 4-1 (Last Week: 10)
The Green Bay Packers are slowly moving up my power rankings after they got destroyed in week one. They barely pulled out a win on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals after Mason Crosby missed three field goals late in the game before hitting the game winning one. The Packers get to face the Bears this week which could put them safely in the driver's seat of the NFC North. Green Bay will try and win one last Super Bowl with Aaron Rodgers before he leaves next year more than likely.
9. Cleveland Browns 3-2 (Last Week: 6)
The Browns lost a shootout with the Chargers on Sunday and it may have eased concerns about Baker Mayfield's shoulder after he had a solid week. This team will compete with the Ravens for the NFC North crown and will look to keep building off the success they had last season. The Browns hang in the top 10 this week since they have only lost to the Chiefs and Chargers in very close games.
10. Cincinnati Bengals 3-2 (Last Week: NR)
The tenth spot in my rankings was a real toss up but I put the Bengals in the spot after they almost pulled off a great win over the Packers. This is a really improved team and they are heading in the right direction with Joe Burrow under center. It is weird seeing a team move up in the rankings after a loss but the Bengals are worthy of a top 10 spot this week.
